Our Journey

For over 20 years, Panhua Group has expanded its presence by establishing production hubs in strategic locations, including Zhangjiagang in Jiangsu, Fuling in Chongqing, Yueyang in Hunan, and the Philippines in Southeast Asia. Each base operates under the “Production base + Port” model, creating an interconnected industrial network. This structure not only enhances collaboration along the Yangtze River's upper, middle, and lower reaches but also strengthens our global presence, ensuring efficient operations and seamless connectivity between domestic and international markets.

Development of Our Production Bases

2001: The Zhangjiagang production base was established, marking the foundation of Panhua Group. Facilities such as Zhangjiagang Huada Coating Co., Ltd., and Zhangjiagang Wanda Steel Sheet Co., Ltd., were built, significantly enhancing the production capacity for steel sheets and coils.

2009: In response to the "Western Development" strategy, Panhua Group invested 15 billion RMB to expand into Chongqing. This expansion included two major production facilities, now recognized among China’s Top 500 manufacturers, further solidifying our role as a leading player in the steel industry.

2019: A new production base was launched in Yueyang, Hunan Province, under the "Yangtze River Economic Belt" strategy. With an investment of 10 billion RMB, this facility now produces 4 million tonnes of flat-rolled steel annually, catering to both domestic and regional demands.

2021: Panhua Group entered the international market with a significant project in the Philippines. Supported by a $3.5 billion investment, this initiative includes an advanced steel production facility and a 2,500-meter port. The first phase of the project is expected to be operational by December 2024, with full completion scheduled for 2025.

2024: Panhua Group is currently developing its fifth production base, Anhui Panhua New Materials Co., Ltd. Located in Anqing, Anhui Province, this new manufacturing facility is set to begin operations in 2025, significantly strengthening our ability to provide high-quality steel products including cold-rolled steel, galvanized steel, pre-painted steel, etc. to neighboring provinces such as Henan, and Jiangxi.

Technological Achievements

In 2011, Panhua Group introduced the first privately-owned pre-painted steel production line in China. This achievement had an important role in establishing more reasonable pricing for color-coated steel, introducing innovative service models, and promoting large-scale applications in the industry.
In 2011 and 2014, Panhua Group made significant investments to build five-stand continuous rolling production lines in Zhangjiagang and Chongqing. These production lines, unique to Jiangsu and Chongqing, have set industry benchmarks in process technology, production efficiency, and product quality.
In 2016, the high-precision cold tandem rolling project for intelligent equipment panels successfully passed the review of a national expert group. This project received a government grant of 60 million RMB and stands as the largest initiative within its category. It achieved numerous technological breakthroughs, producing proprietary technologies and products that reached international standards.

Logistics and Port Operations

To support its large-scale production and logistics strategy, Panhua Group launched the “Lighting Up the Yangtze River Plan”, establishing four major production bases and logistics ports: Zhangjiagang Headquarters Base with Huada Port, Chongqing Fuling Base with Fuling Panhua Port, Hunan Yueyang Base with Yueyang Panda Port, and the Philippines General Santos Steel Industrial Park with Panhua Philippines Port. This strategic network spans the Yangtze River and extends internationally, enhancing production and logistics efficiency. It supports seamless inland and overseas operations, ensuring reliable delivery and large-scale export capabilities tailored to diverse client needs.
